We will then head towards Mount Vesuvius. Vesuvius is a composite volcano, formed by two overlapping volcanoes from different eras. To reach the summit crater, you will need to walk for about half an hour. Along the way, you will notice how, despite the devastating eruptions, the slopes of Vesuvius are intensely cultivated due to the fertility of the soil, with vineyards predominating.
From the Vesuvius Observatory, you will enjoy a spectacular view of the coast and the sea, stretching from the Gulf of Gaeta to the Sorrentine Peninsula and Capri. By following another trail, you will encounter ashes, pumice, and sand covering much of the ground. The edge of the crater offers a breathtaking panorama, with its vertical walls, providing a unique and impressive spectacle of immense beauty.
After visiting these extraordinary places, our driver will promptly accompany you to the departure port for the continuation of your journey.
